Special to the Times
Mr. Schroeder’s 4th grade class stand in line to vote. Mrs. Willburn’s and Mrs. Epps’ third graders hosted a school wide mock election on election day! They decorated the booths and ballot box table. Posters were made by the 3rd graders and put up all over the school encouraging students to vote. The students’ votes were only for president between Barack Obama and Mitt Romney and 191 students voted. The results were as follows: Obama—76 votes; Romney—115 votes. We look forward to comparing our results with the national election.
