Thrift store opens in Mancos

The Mancos Thrift Store will open on Thursday, Feb. 14. It is located at 300 N. Willow, east of the laundromat. From left is Philip Martin, Robin Bays (kneeling) with pet, Cinnamon, and her son, LeRoy Tafoya. Ten percent of their earnings, for now, will go to Scouting and the Responsible Fatherhood program. As more money comes in, they will be able to donate more.

Bays has volunteered in thrift stores for a long time and managed a store in Dolores for 9 years.

They will take donations anytime they are open, which is Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Enlargephoto
